Parish Life:
All Souls Mass: A liturgy to remember our deceased loved ones , especially those who have died during the previous year, is celebrated on All Souls Day.
St. Joseph’s Covenant Keepers: These men meet every Friday at 6:00 a.m. in the Parish Life Center.
Veteran Recognition: Displays are placed in the foyer to honor our veterans from all nations represented in our parish.
Our House Dinners: Parish volunteers cook and serve dinner at the Our House shelter for the homeless on the third Thursday of each month.
Food Pantry: All parishioners are asked regularly to donate non-perishable food items, which are collected in the vestibule and transported by volunteers to the Abba House and Helping Hand food bank center.
Rummage Sale: An annual project sponsored by parish as a fundraiser for the church projects. This event also provides a form of outreach and connection to families in need in our immediate neighborhood.
Attention Ladies & Gents: Your presence is requested at OLGC on Friday mornings. We have been meeting for the 8:00 a.m. Mass, then going to meeting room A, and folding the weekend bulletins. Afterwards, we enjoy visiting, some refreshments, and catching up on the news about the parish and friends.:
Recently, we decided to begin the social by reciting the Rosary, especially for the needs of our parish. When weather permits, we go to Mary's garden and pray the Rosary there. Please join us, we would love to meet/see you. More details, call Evelyn Hodges - 868-4600 or Lucille Moore - 663-2270 or Judi Scerbo - 666-4004
